By accessing or using Elite Wedding Society, creating an account, submitting a listing, or sending enquiries through the platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2) What we do (and what we don’t)

EWS is an online wedding directory and discovery platform that helps couples find and contact wedding vendors.

We are not a party to any contract between couples and vendors. Any booking, agreement, payment, delivery, or dispute is strictly between the couple and the vendor.

3) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform. By using EWS, you confirm you meet this requirement.

4) Accounts and security

4.1 Account creation

You may need to create an account to access certain features (e.g., vendor dashboards, messaging/inbox, listing management).

4.2 Your responsibility

You agree to:

  • provide accurate information,

  • keep your password secure,

  • not share your login details,

  • notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are compromised or being used improperly.

5) Vendor listings and content

5.1 Vendor content you submit

Vendors are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all listing content, including:

  • business name and contact details,

  • descriptions, pricing guidance (if included),

  • images/logos,

  • service areas, categories, and claims.

5.2 Rights to use your content

By submitting content, you grant EWS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the EWS platform for the purpose of operating and marketing the directory.

You confirm you own the rights to your content (or have permission to use it) and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

5.3 Moderation and removal

We may edit, refuse, suspend, or remove listings/content that:

  • is misleading, fraudulent, or impersonates another business,

  • contains hate speech, harassment, explicit sexual content, or illegal material,

  • violates intellectual property rights,

  • is spammy, irrelevant, or undermines the platform experience,

  • breaches these Terms.

We are not obligated to publish or keep any listing live.

6) “Verified” badges (if/when applicable)

If EWS offers “Verified” status, it means a vendor has met EWS’s internal verification criteria at the time of assessment.

Verified does not guarantee quality, availability, pricing, suitability, or outcomes. Couples should still do their own due diligence.

We may revoke verification if we reasonably believe the vendor no longer meets the criteria or breaches these Terms.

7) Enquiries, messaging, and communications

7.1 How enquiries work

When a couple contacts a vendor through EWS, the message and provided contact details may be shared with that vendor so they can respond.

7.2 No guarantee of response

We do not guarantee that vendors will respond, respond within a timeframe, or accept a booking.

7.3 No harassment or misuse

You may not use EWS messaging to:

  • spam vendors or couples,

  • solicit unrelated services,

  • harass, threaten, or abuse others,

  • send malicious links or harmful content.

8) Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • scrape, copy, or harvest data (including vendor contact details) without written permission,

  • upload viruses, malware, or attempt to disrupt the site,

  • bypass security, probe vulnerabilities, or access restricted areas,

  • impersonate any person or business,

  • post false reviews or manipulate rankings,

  • use EWS for unlawful purposes.

9) Intellectual property

The EWS website, branding, design, text, graphics, and platform content (excluding vendor/user content) belong to EWS or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10) Third-party links and services

Listings may include links to third-party websites, social platforms, or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices. Your use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

11) Disclaimers

11.1 Platform provided “as is”

EWS is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that:

  • the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure,

  • listings are complete, accurate, or up to date,

  • vendors will meet expectations or deliver specific outcomes.

11.2 No professional advice

Any content on EWS is for general information only and is not professional, legal, financial, or event planning advice.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, EWS will not be liable for:

  • any loss or damage arising from vendor services, cancellations, non-performance, or disputes,

  • indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages,

  • loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

If liability cannot be excluded by law, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted.

13) Privacy

Your use of EWS is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available on our website. By using EWS, you acknowledge that personal information will be processed as described there.

14) Changes to the platform and these Terms

We may update features, rules, and these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on the website with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the platform (or remove content/listings) if:
